IES is a renowned centre of knowledge and insight into HR and people management issues developed through our research programmes, work with employing organisations and interaction with both practitioners and other thought leaders. We provide access to this evidence and insights through our online knowledge base.

Training services – building HR capability

We have developed a range of Continuous Professional Development programmes for HR people that go beyond the normal HR training modules, to focus on those capabilities that really set excellent HR people apart from the rest. These are all available as in-house (organisation specific) programmes and a selection of the most popular ones are available as open (public) courses.

The IES HR Network – research, seminars and networking

Our proactive programme of research and member-only seminars and conferences provide insights into both the latest thinking, and the practices of leading edge employers. Organisations can become members of the IES HR Network, and gain access to the full knowledge base and events programme.

Through our consultancy work we bring the Institute’s insights and approaches to organisations to help them add value to their corporate strategy and performance.
