Rebecca Willison BA, MSc![]() Profile Rebecca works in our Unemployment and Labour Market Disadvantage research team, with 10 years experience. She joined IES after completing an MSc in Social Research at the University of Surrey. Prior to this, Rebecca studied for a BA in Sociology at the University of Sussex, graduating in 1998. Since joining IES, Rebecca has developed expertise working in the area of labour market disadvantage, with particular focus on discrimination and diversity in more recent work, and on qualitative methodologies. Recent publications include a study of Pakistani and Bangladeshi women’s attitudes to work and family and an evaluation of the Partners Outreach for Ethnic Minorities scheme, both for the Department for Work and Pensions. Most recently, Rebecca has been working on an evaluation of the impact on organisations of the 2005 changes to the Disability Discrimination Act. Education
