The main aim of this study, for the European Metalworkers Federation, is to examine the medium and long-term business, industrial and employment perspectives of the European land armament sector. It will collect state-of-the-art information, including the views of key informants, and provide robust analysis about the future of this sector, with particular emphasis on its potential for business and employment growth. The lead co-ordinator is IKEI Research (Spain), while IES is responsible for the UK case study.
