IES adds David Clutterbuck to its coaching team05 May 2010 David Clutterbuck, one of the UK’s leading executive coaches, has joined the IES team of associate coaches. David will focus on coaching leaders and teams.
He is also a prolific author of coaching and mentoring related books, and acts as lead assessor in assessment centres to select external executive coaches for major multinationals. David is also advisor to the UK National School of Government on development planning for directors and boards and has helped hundreds of organisations develop internal capability in coaching and mentoring. Nigel Meager, Director of IES, comments: ‘David is a well-regarded coaching expert and our corporate clients will benefit from his thirty years’ experience of research and practice. He brings a vast store of knowledge about management and leadership, and a keen interest in developing the quality of dialogue within organisations. David’s appointment as a coaching associate significantly strengthens our coaching capacity and we are delighted to welcome him.’ David Clutterbuck comments: ‘One of the great fallacies of leadership is that the need for learning reduces or stops when you get to the top. In fact, it increases exponentially. It’s the way of learning that changes, with increasing emphasis falling on just-in-time, personalized, deeply challenging learning – which is what effective executive coaching provides.’ IES is a leading supplier of coaching in the HR world with a robust methodology and clear set of ethics, as well as one of the leaders in the emerging field of strengths coaching. IES provides solutions for developing the effectiveness of HR directors, managers and teams including coaching, workshops, masterclasses and bite-size learning.
