The impact of emerging forms of interfirm relationships on employment and working conditions

The European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions commissioned IES, with the Manchester Business School’s European Work and Employment Research Centre (EWERC), to conduct a comparative international study of the impact of emerging forms of inter-firm relationships, including joint ventures, clusters, public-private partnerships (PPPs), strategic alliances/networks and virtual company networks on employment and working conditions. The one-year project involved 25 mini case studies across Europe and a validation workshop. The main findings were presented in a report to be published by the Foundation.
