Survey: customer views of HR/OD

NHS North West

Human Resources (HR) and Organisational Development (OD) have a key part to play in supporting the effectiveness and success of NHS North West organisations in providing world class services to the people of the North West. The purpose of this survey is to collect your views about the services provided by HR and OD in your organisation. Your feedback will help your HR and OD function plan the actions they need to continue their journey towards being world-class. Please follow the links on the left for further information about the NHS North West World-class HR self-assessment methodology.

Please note:

In some organisations the HR/OD functions are both part of one department, while in others they are two separate departments. A number of the survey questions will ask you to comment on aspects of ‘the HR/OD function’. Please answer these questions with reference to the function (HR or OD) of which you have the best knowledge and experience. There is a separate question at the end of the survey that asks you to indicate how much personal contact you have with each of these functions.

This survey is being conducted by the Institute for Employment Studies (IES) on behalf of the NHS NW. It is anonymous, and the personal details you provide will remain confidential to IES. Information such as your gender, job role and length of service will not be used to identify you, but to build a picture of the issues that are of particular concern to different groups of staff. Neither your organisation nor the NHS NW will have access to your individual responses, and findings will be reported at a group level only.
