Highlights a wide range of studies that provide evidence of benefits for individuals and organisations, from skills, training and development. The literature on high performance workplaces and practices also shows a considerable weight of evidence that a range of HR practices are linked to organisational performance, and are predominantly adopted by organisations seeking to produce differentiated goods or services.
