A summary of IES research for STEMNET assessing the impact of STEM Ambassadors and STEM Clubs programmes.

The research looked at several key areas of evaluation, including:

  • the range of skills that both pupils and teachers believe that pupils gain as a result of being involved in STEM activities;
  • how the range of different STEM activities impact on the effectiveness of these programmes; and
  • the impact of these programmes on the employability skills of young people.
