This report forms part of the STYLE Working Papers 3 series and looks at how labour market performance affects young people in Europe. The report aims to create an index measure of labour market performance which will in turn provide a way of comparing relative performance of European countries. Through a variety of quantitative data analysis methods the analysis looks at areas including:

the potential drivers and barriers of youth school-to-work transitions;
a comparison of each country's performance and analysis of which countries have the best performance for young people; and
how parental education affects young people's transitions.
