Policy learning and innovation processes drawing on EU and national policy frameworks on youth – Synthesis Report

This report contains IES research and forms part of the STYLE project, aiming to provide a comprehensive understanding of the causes of very high unemployment among young people and to assess the effectiveness of labour market policies designed to mitigate this phenomenon.

Innovative schemes to tackle youth unemployment are the focus of the report and are analysed with regard to whether they trigger significant changes in policy governance. The report also looks at other areas of youth unemployment including what changes in the policy toolkit have been introduced to reach out to disadvantaged young people.
