Valerie joined the Institute in 2007 as Associate Director, HR Research and Consultancy, and in 2010 became a Principal Associate Fellow. She was previously Principal Researcher at Roffey Park Institute where she led the Institute’s research programme around individual and organisational development. Valerie has a degree in French Studies, a Masters in Organisational Behaviour and a PhD in Management. Her specific research interests are in the area of OD and include the people aspects of mergers, acquisitions and partnerships and the impact of major change on the psychological contract. She also has experience in developing leadership frameworks and developing talent management strategy.
