We are always interested in looking at CVs of qualified individuals who feel their skills could contribute to the valuable work we do here at IES.
We regularly have opportunities available for suitably qualified people to join us for three to six months and gain experience as Research Interns. We pay the Living Wage and can offer a range of opportunities to develop research skills and knowledge among a friendly team of staff. We look for people with an undergraduate degree in a social or economic science discipline who can demonstrate some knowledge of and interest in one or more aspects of employment policy or human resource management issues.
We also welcome proactive applications from suitably qualified people to join us as Research Officers. We initially offer a one year contract with a salary ranging from £24,007 - 26,720, a range of benefits and may subsequently offer a permanent contract subject to performance and business need. We look for people who have either a) a higher degree in a social or economic science discipline with evidence of an understanding of UK employment policy and/or HR policy and practice and an interest in employment issues or b) an undergraduate social science degree coupled with significant relevant work experience on employment or HRM topics (at least 6 months) in an applied research or similar setting.
