13:00 - 14:00
Online Event

*please note there are two sessions, 14:00-15:00 and 15:30 -16:30*

Event Summary
A chance to discuss how members are approaching recruitment and retention in one of the most challenging labour markets for decades.

Background
Vacancies have been at record highs across industry, prompting recruiters to adapt and innovate their approaches to attract, recruit and retain the workforce they need. This virtual discussion will be hosted by Dan Lucy, Principal Research Consultant. Dan is currently leading work on workforce planning, attraction and recruitment.

At the event we will discuss and hear about:

  • Key issues and challenges in recruiting and retaining staff
  • How practices are changing to address the recruitment and retention challenge
  • What solutions are being tried/trialled and with what impact?

How will participants and their organisation benefit from this event?
IES virtual discussion group events are designed to simulate the intimate and interactive experience that you might encounter at physical event conference tables. Delegate numbers for these events are intentionally limited to eight delegates per session, to allow for richer opportunities to share experiences with practitioners in other organisations and hear about the latest trends and evidence on ‘what works’.

Who should attend?
Senior HR professionals with a focus on resourcing, retention and workforce planning/strategy.

Reserving your space
Full members have one inclusive space at IES virtual discussion groups due to the limited capacity.  If you wish to attend, please advise Emma Stewart-Rigby ([email protected]) by midday on Friday 8th July, to guarantee your place at the event.  After this date, any spare capacity will be offered to Associate members who express interest for any further remaining places.
