New events format for 2014
For our employers' event programme for 2014 we have looked at the format of our events. We thought members might enjoy some short, sharp information packed events on some 'hot topics' so we have introduced three Breakfast Briefings on 'Diversity and the composition of the board'; 'Big data' and 'Zero hours working'.

For our employers’ event programme for 2014 we have looked at the format of our events. We thought members might enjoy some short, sharp information packed events on some ‘hot topics’ so we have introduced three Breakfast Briefings on ‘Diversity and the composition of the board’; ‘Big data’ and ‘Zero hours working’.
We have also relaxed the distinction between what we used to call Masterclasses and Workshops, and in 2014 will be holding a series of half day seminars which our members can choose from. These include sessions on ‘A culture of openness’; ‘The science and art of successful change’; ‘Well-being and resilience’; Outsourcing and its impact on services’ and ‘Talent and succession management: Where next?’
Members will be familiar with our HR Directors’ Retreat, which next year will focus on innovation and with our Annual Conference, focused in 2014 on strategic HR. Our Annual Provocation will be called ‘The enemy within – What lies does HR tell itself?’
A new addition to our regular programme will be our ‘Mini Conference’ where we talk to members about latest developments (in practical terms) in some familiar and new topic areas.
We look forward to welcoming all members to our exciting 2014 programme.
