Arundhati is an applied policy researcher specialising in employment, skills, workplace wellbeing, and equality, diversity and inclusion (DEI). She brings an interdisciplinary background spanning psychology, human resource management, and public policy research, enabling her to bridge the gap between policy and practice.

Her expertise includes:

  • Skills and Employment Policy: Designing and delivering mixed-method evaluations of adult skills programmes, bootcamps, and employment support services to inform national and devolved policy.
  • Workplace Wellbeing and Inclusion: Researching interventions to improve mental health and wellbeing at work, and advancing employer practice to support carers, parents, and disadvantaged groups.
  • Innovative Research Design: Applying advanced qualitative techniques such as repertory grid and cognitive interviewing to uncover insights on career perceptions and gender stereotypes in sectors facing skills shortages.
  • Strategic Engagement and Impact: Translating evidence into actionable recommendations for policy-makers and employers, and sharing findings through publications, blogs, and speaking engagements at national conferences.
