Naomi Clayton

Chief Executive Officer

Naomi is Chief Executive of the Institute for Employment Studies. She brings more than 20 years of experience in policy and research with focus on employment, skills, and addressing labour market disadvantage.

Before joining IES, Naomi was Director of Policy and Research at Learning and Work Institute, where she held overall responsibility for research, policy and development. She was also Deputy Director at the What Works Centre for Local Economic Growth, and Policy and Research Manager at Centre for Cities. She has led numerous projects and initiatives focused on developing evidence-based insights and solutions.

Naomi is an experienced speaker and commentator on labour market issues.
