Jenny re-joined IES as an HR Research Consultant in January 2020 having previously worked at IES in 2013/14 as a Research Officer.
Prior to these roles, she worked as an HR practitioner in banking, further education and the NHS. For three years, she ran her own consultancy providing HR advice to small and medium sized businesses and charities in Brighton.
Between 2014 and 2020, she worked as an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion practitioner focused initially on Athena SWAN accreditation for Brighton and Sussex Medical School and then broadening to other diversity strands. She also serves as an Athena SWAN panellist.
Jenny has experience of a range of research techniques including conducting focus groups and interviews, writing staff surveys and analysing the resulting survey data as well as analysis of other quantitative and qualitative data.
