An HR Network event
12th June 2012
Organisations have very high expectations of their people managers at all levels, especially in their ability to motivate employees, manage their performance and develop their skills. HR functions now rely on line managers to deliver these complex tasks and much research identifies the quality of line management as one of the key drivers of business performance. But are we really equipping line managers to match our expectations and what forms of training and support give them the best chance of success? This workshop will draw on extensive research by IES and others to summarise the key issues and delegates will have the opportunity to challenge their assumptions, share practice and look for more innovative solutions.
