Refreshing Performance Management

Webinar summary:
Before lockdown, performance management was already undergoing some important changes. Some organisations had ‘de-coupled’ it from pay rises, others had introduced a stronger ‘peer evaluation’ element, others had started to focus less on an annual review and shifted to more regular 1:1 catch-ups. With working from home, more remote working, and the growth of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, many employers are taking another look at whether performance management as we know it is ‘fit for purpose’.

This event explores what is going on in the world of performance management and explores some of the adaptations and changes which are being made to performance management by organisations.

This webinar covered:

  • Managing remote teams
  • Balancing inputs & outputs
  • Linking performance management to reward & development
  • The importance of feedback,
  • Updating line manager capability
  • Flexing performance management to meet the needs of hybrid working.
