Jackson C, Honey S, Hillage J, Stock J | Report 268 | Institute of Manpower Studies | May 1994

This study clarifies some of the issues around the current system of discretionary funding for dance and drama training and the impact of training on future careers. Commissioned by the Arts Council, the research provides a variety of evidence about how the dance and drama labour markets operate. Findings show the importance of training to a professional career, and that most survey respondents were satisfied with the overall quality of professional training received.
