Contemporary Issues in Industrial Relations: Implications for WIRS

This report provides an overview of the current issues facing those involved in contemporary industrial relations. It forms part of the groundwork for the next Workplace Industrial Relations Survey (WIRS).

As such it is of interest in two ways: first as a general summary — a 'Cook's tour' — of current interests and perspectives in the area of employee relations; and secondly as a review of the particular implications of such issues for the next WIRS study.
