HR analytics: HR Network Members survey

This report was written to provide an up-to-date reflection on the role that HR Analytics plays in organisations.

For a long time, HR has struggled to prove its value to organisations as a strategic partner. Through HR Analytics, organisations can develop a clearer picture of its workforce strategy and crucially increasingly measure the value of its HR initiatives and practices.

This report draws upon responses collected from our HR Analytics survey which was initially distributed to the participants in IES’s ‘Building your HR Analytics Capabilities’ workshop.

The purpose of this survey was to gauge views on HR Analytics practices, the metrics being collected and reported, and the required people skills and IT resources.
