Process evaluation of the Apprenticeship Trailblazers
Final Report
This report provides a process evaluation of the Apprenticeship Trailblazers between January 2014 and March 2015. It follows the interim report, which was published in March 2015.
Trailblazers are networks of employers and other sector and industry bodies, working together to design apprenticeship training and standards for jobs in their sector.
The research involved 16 of the Trailblazers and explored:
- how Trailblazer networks are established and structured;
- the processes involved in developing standards and detailed assessments;
- employer responses to the national principles and to the funding reforms; and
- the overall satisfaction of employers with the development process.
