This webinar is the second event of the Better Quality Youth Employment Programme ‘Learning and Sharing’ network. In this session, Cristiana Orlando outlines the findings from the latest IES youth-centred research on young people’s views of good quality work and support, the quality of their experiences in work, and the impact of the pandemic.

We are joined by Charlotte Jeffreys of The Prince’s Trust who discusses research on the future of work for young people, and Lauren Mistry of Youth Employment UK who shares key insight from their latest Youth Voice Census. We also hear from young people themselves about their views of good work and their journeys into work and from a youth-friendly employer on what it means to create good quality job opportunities for young people.

This event is targeted to stakeholders working in policy, research, education, and frontline services involved in the development and improvement of youth employment policy and practice.

Please note, while legible during the live presentation, a selection of slides appear corrupted on playback (starting from approximately 26min), we therefore include the full slide deck for download in .pdf format at the bottom of this page.
