The IES Annual Graduate Review, 2002 update - Part 2: Graduates' Early Careers

Perryman S | Report 393 | Institute for Employment Studies | May 2002

Members of the IES Research Networks continued to regularly recruit large numbers of graduates in a market which had become ever more complex and fast changing.

Even though the numbers graduating were continuing to rise, many organisations experienced problems recruiting. Keeping up to date with changes in the labour market was crucial, as was an understanding of changes in the education system.

Not published as a bound report in 2002, the year's report appears in the form of two summary updates:

  • Part 1: Higher Education: the New Status Quo
  • Part 2: Graduates' Early Career.
