Making a difference with psychology bookA new book published by the Richard Benjamin Trust, includes a chapter by Dilys Robinson, a principal associate at IES, and Luke Fletcher, a former research officer at IES. Their chapter focuses on their recent project for the Trust, which investigated meaningfulness at work.

The aim of the project was to find out what impact promoting positive outcomes, as opposed to preventing negative outcomes, would have on employees. The research compared the impact on employees who received two different personal development interventions with those who did not receive any intervention. One intervention focused on meaningfulness, the other on stress management.
