Evaluation of the Nye Bevan Programme

IES evaluated the Nye Bevan Programme for the NHS Leadership Academy. The programme is for aspiring executive directors and aims to develop the best executive leaders. It offers support and learning to build personal resilience, confidence and capability.

The results showed that the programme has many positive features and is showing considerable success in increasing participants’ progression into senior roles. The NHS Leadership Academy is using some of the material, especially the case studies of successful participants, in its publicity and marketing.
