Impact of Changes in Provision on People over the Age of 19 with Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities

The Learning and Skills Council (LSC) commissioned IES to assess the impact of changes in provision for learners, on people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities (LDD) over the age of 19. The research assessed how learning providers currently support the need for adult provision with respect to adult learners with LDD, and identify any changes in this type of adult provision, evaluating and measuring the impact of these changes on the experience of adult learners with LDD. The study was undertaken in partnership with Ipsos-MORI and incorporated a telephone survey of FE providers and adult learners, and qualitative case studies with colleges, local authorities, Learning and Skills Councils.
