The Impact of Flexicurity at Company Level on Women, Young, and Older Workers
IES was commissioned by the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions, Dublin, to carry out research into the impact of 'flexicurity' provisions at company level on employment and working conditions of women, young workers and older workers. The research was based on 18 company case studies in six EU member states and was analysed in a resulting report.
'Flexicurity' can be defined as a policy strategy to enhance the flexibility of labour markets, work organisation, and labour relations on the one hand, and employment security and income security on the other.
