Industrial Relations and Youth Employment: Chapter 5 of the 2014 Industrial Relations in Europe report
Andrea Broughton was asked to contribute a chapter on youth employment to the European Commission's Industrial Relations in Europe 2014 report.
The chapter aimed to present an overview of the role of industrial relations in promoting schemes to facilitate the entry of young people into the labour market.
It examined industrial relations and their relevance to youth policy and whether these could make a difference to the experience of young people trying to enter the labour market, together with an overview of what the social partners were doing to help young people to enter the labour market and to promote youth employment in general.
