Managing gender identity in the workplace

There has been very little research in the area of gender identity and its implications for the workplace, and in particular for managers and employees.

This study on behalf of Acas will consider the full range of transgender and non-binary experiences in the workplace, how they are protected by the Equality Act 2010 and what policies and practices exist to ensure inclusive employment.

The research involves a documentary and evidence review in addition to interviews with stakeholders, and case studies.
