Meeting the Needs of Disadvantaged Learners and Non-learners
IES conducted this study on behalf of the LSC, leading a consortium which included Ipsos MORI and NIACE. The research included a large-scale survey, consultative workshops, and qualitative interviews and focus groups. The project segmented disadvantaged learners and non-learners by their attitudes and barriers to learning and identified the best ways of encouraging and supporting participation in learning for particular groups.
