Understanding the Behaviour and Decision-making of Employees in Handling Conflicts and Disputes at Work

This review of the literature, commissioned by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, aimed to understand the behaviour and decision-making of employees in handling conflicts and disputes at work. The government believes that more can be done to encourage parties to resolve differences prior to any employment tribunal claim being made. This review sought to provide findings capable of informing policy in terms of designing interventions (including communications) to influence behaviour.
