Understanding Occupational Regulation

The overall aim of this project was to develop a deeper understanding and insight into the design, implementation, and impact of forms of occupational regulation in the UK. Specifically the research explored the factors associated with schemes that have been successfully introduced, especially those which have been voluntarily adopted, including stakeholder perceptions of the advantages and disadvantages of occupational regulation. This project aimed to inform ongoing policy development for the future delivery of investment initiatives and provide useful information to employers.
