This report containing IES research offers the first analysis of the Youth Employment Initiative (YEI) in Greece. The YEI aims to improve access to employment for young people up the age of 29 across the European Union. Given the context of very high youth unemployment levels in Greece, this report offers important insights into the impact of the YEI and its overall role in helping to tackle this problem.

The report contains insights on the results achieved up to November 2015 including how well the YEI was communicated to key target areas and the challenges that the initiative faced, including the sheer number of unemployed young people in the country.
