This report presents the findings of research carried out by IES to support the UK Government’s Senior Salaries Review Body (SSRB) in its Major Review of the Judicial Salary Structure.
IES conducted an exercise with members of the judiciary to make recommendations on the placement of judicial posts in the judicial salary structure, with the aim of aiding the SSRB in its considerations of what changes, if any, should be made to the salary structure, and whether changes should be made to the placement of individual posts within it.
