Further Evaluation of Learner Support Funds

The Institute was commissioned by the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) to conduct a further evaluation of the Learner Support Funds which provide help to students in further education suffering from hardship. The evaluation, which mainly involved analysis of individual learner records and interviews with LSF coordinators in colleges, fed into the LSC’s submission to the Comprehensive Spending Review.
