Independent Review of the NHS Knowledge and Skills Framework

IES carried out an independent review of the NHS Knowledge and Skills Framework, an important skills development process covering more than one million NHS employees.

The resulting recommendations for improvements to the KSF were agreed by the NHS Staff Council at the end of March 2010, and IES successfully won the tender to work on the KSF’s redesign and improvements. This involved working with a technical design group and project reference group to detail the recommendations and plan their implementation and communications.
