Innovative Models of Effective International Practice in Training Early School Leavers

Foras Áiseanna Saothair (FÁS) commissioned research from IES to identify and explore innovative models of effective international practice in the training of early school leavers. The study involved an evidence trawl and literature review to identify models of effective and innovative practice which can inform provision for disaffected young people in Ireland. Reviewing the context in which these models of training have been introduced was important in order to understand their transferability to the Irish education system.
