International workforce planning for Siemens
Siemens initiated a project called 'Resource and Talent Planning' and this was phase one of a programme to embed a consistent planning methodology across Siemens Northwest cluster (UK, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, Poland Finland/Baltics).
Siemens internally developed the process by using a group of HR RTP champions across the cluster.
IES was asked to perform a 'facilitation' role in setting out the new process in a way that allowed the HR owners to consider their own skills and readiness in this area and their ability to implement with their local stakeholders.
IES assisted in the design and development of the final event materials; delivery of seven sessions across the cluster; management of event feedback and production of an end of programme report with recommendations as to how to take the project forward into phase two and beyond.
