Review of Apprenticeship Research 2013-2014

A wealth of material is regularly published on themes relevant to apprenticeships, including studies of apprenticeship and work-based training which span UK and international settings.

This represents some challenges for the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS) and its stakeholders: keeping abreast of developments, including evidence arising from grey sources and non-policy bodies; and understanding and interpreting the implications of new evidence for apprenticeship policy and delivery.

IES provided analytical support to NAS to help it address these challenges.
