Socially Excluded Adults Public Service Agreement (PSA 16)

IES was commissioned by the Department for Work and Pensions to research the various strands informing the DWP’s approach to, and progress towards, its Socially Excluded Adults Public Service Agreement (PSA 16) objectives. The core objective of the research was to draw up a prospectus of DWP’s approaches to its obligations under PSA 16, which would: set out how DWP engages with the PSA’s target groups; assess how effectively it supports their needs in the labour market; indicate what measures the Department has specifically put into place (or is considering doing) to improve this; and suggest what might more reasonably be undertaken to this end.
