Diverse organisations
An HR Network event
25th April 2013
Most people acknowledge that diversity within an organisation is a ‘good thing’ with advantages to having an employee profile that represents your customer or client base. But do organisations really practice what they preach? Do we really value diversity? If so, why do the upper echelons of organisations still consist largely of white, middle class men?
This masterclass examines the systems and processes that prevent organisations from becoming truly diverse, from inequality in performance management outcomes and the application of flexible working, to networking and relying on ‘who you know’ to get on. We will examine what organisations should consider to be really committed to diversity.
